Paying tribute to the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery is a moving experience and one that is etched in my memory forever. It’s a scene of dedication that touches the heart of any citizen grateful to know how our country honors those who have given their lives for freedom.
It has been said that only two people have truly died for us: the American soldier and Christ Jesus our Lord. What I find so glorious about Christ Jesus’ life is that, through his ultimate sacrifice, he proved love to be the master of hate and forgiveness to triumph over inflamed resentment. And the finality of his great success resulted in his exemption from the tomb.Continue Reading
