The Christian Science Board of Directors recently announced that Kevin E. Ness, CS, will succeed Rich Evans, CSB, in the post of Manager of the Committees on Publication. I thought it would be helpful to give a little background on Kevin. Kevin comes to this post with deep experience in both law and healing. Holding an undergraduate degree in political science from Rice University, a law degree from the University of Florida, and an MBA from Rollins College, Kevin practiced law in a private firm and taught college-level courses. He has worked as an attorney for the legal department of The Mother Church for over 17 years, becoming General Counsel in 2007 and serving in that position until now. In 2008, he became a Journal-listed practitioner, which was a natural extension of the steadfast Christian love and expectation of healing he brings to all his work.
With this appointment as Manager, Kevin says, “I look forward to this new opportunity to apply the truths of Christian Science worldwide and to support Mary Baker Eddy’s vision for the Committee on Publication, which helps humanity have a clear and accurate view of Christian Science and the sure blessings it brings.”
