Because health and health care reform is of vital importance right now, both in California and in the U.S., I have been keeping you informed of new information as it becomes available. I found the December 13, 2012 article from California Healthline discussing, “Setting Priorities in Health Care Special Session and Beyond” to be enlightening. There were a number of legislators and stakeholders who shared what they thought the priorities in the coming year should be. To read this article, and the letters from these legislators, click here: http://www.californiahealthline.org/think-tank/2012/setting-priorities-in-health-care-special-session-and-beyond.aspx#ixzz2Ey0GV2kj

I didn’t read it all, but I did look at it and it’s good to know that you got a response from those which you did and that they had so much to say on the subject.

This is quite long, however, it is now printed out and will be in our branch church’s “keep informed” notebook. Thank you so much for sharing this information.

Well I did read it all and there are a lot of different opinions about what we should and should not do. Most agree that our legislature need to get their act together and get things in place. I am surprised that with all this talk there does not seem to be any talk about alternative care and/or provision for those who wish to take a spiritual approach to their health care needs. We certainly need to think out of the box and so does our legislature as well as our governor. It seems to me we still have a lot to pray about.

Thanks Don for bringing all this information forth for us to ponder. You are so good at keeping us informed and I so appreciate that. This blog of yours is a great resource for what is going on with our health care situation.
