I love this provocative blog, and I want to see that movie. It’s humbling to think just how world saving these ideas of spiritual health care truly, truly are.

I’ve just returned from the beautiful state of Arizona and was most interested in learning what Dr. Weil teaches in his CIM. I completely agree with the other comments made about our disease-care system. It definitely needs to be transformed into a true health-care system.

I loved the explanation of your own “escape fire.” And that it includes other aspects of life beyond just a healthy body, as vital as that is.

This is a powerful blog, and I’m glad it was published in the Arizona Capitol Times. The ideas expressed are the future of meaningful health care.

Thanks for the mention again of “Escape Fire” we all need to see this film. And thank you for the reminder that most of our care right now is “disease care” not “health care” If our society and our government would wake up see the difference the solutions might be more recognizable. I find that spiritual solutions have been much more effective in a lot of cases and therefore need to be considered and provided for.

Mary Baker Eddy, asks a really interesting question in the Preface of her major work, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.” She writes, “Sickness has been combated for centruies by doctors using material remedies; but the questions arises, Is there less sickness because of these practitioners.” This question should give us pause to rethink what other methods should be included in our health care system.

It will do the powers that be good to realize that we’re embedded with “disease care” instead of “health care” and hopefully help them to think on the solution.
